Read the latest Covid 19 update.

February 18, 2024

Good Afternoon Residents, Family Members, Staff and Visitors,

Unfortunately, I have to share that since our last update on February 18th, we have had two more staff members test positive for Covid-19. These staff members will be off the schedule while they follow CDC guidelines for isolation as well as monitoring their symptoms. These cases do not seem to be involved with the case we reported on Saturday as all three individuals work in different roles, as well as different shifts.

In accordance with our Covid-19 Guidelines, we have completed resident and staff testing on those considered at risk due to these most recent cases. A number of tests were completed over the last few days and all of them were negative for Covid-19. We will continue to complete testing on residents and staff through the remainder of this week and if necessary, next week. We will provide communication if any additional positive cases are identified.

Everyone’s cooperation is appreciated as we continue to wear masks in all areas of the building, practice frequent hand sanitizing and maintain social distancing when possible. Testing remains key to identifying positive cases sooner versus later. Therefore, as the center completes resident and staff testing, we ask visitors to pick up test kits at the center and complete testing before and after each visit.

As always, we encourage everyone to take the time to get updated on their vaccinations. Vaccinations for Covid-19, Influenza, Pneumonia and RSV can be scheduled at many local pharmacies. If you need assistance with scheduling an appointment to receive a vaccination, please feel free to speak to a staff member and we will assist you.

Thank you,

Ed Walter, Administrator
