Read the latest Covid 19 update.

September 10, 2025

Hello Residents, Family Members, Staff and Visitors,

This is a brief update and follow up to our last Covid update, dated September 6, 2025. Yesterday, a staff member tested positive for Covid after developing symptoms. This staff member does not routinely provide direct resident care, so the risk of transmission while possible, is considered minimal. This staff member will remain off the schedule for at least seven days from the date of their positive test while they are in isolation. They will also need a negative Covid test before returning to work.

Today, a resident has tested positive following contact with a visitor to our building, who was unaware of a recent exposure to an individual with Covid, prior to visiting. The resident will be cared for while in isolation and will also need a negative Covid test before coming off of isolation. We appreciate the communication from the visitor as we were able to complete testing right away.

Per facility guidelines, these positive cases combined with the two positive cases from last week, require us to revise our resident and staff testing schedule for the remainder of this week. Additional tests will be completed based upon potential exposure to either individual and if any more positive cases are identified, we will provide an update. This also requires us to make masks mandatory for our building for at least a short duration. We need to take all precautions in an effort to protect our residents and staff from additional cases.

Please take the time today to contact our Nursing Administration team at extension 2100 to sign up for our next vaccination clinic scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd. Also please remember that we provide plenty of hand sanitizer and test kits for everyone to use before, during and after each visit to the building. Please let our staff know if you have any questions concerning our guidelines or Covid in general.

Please look for another update later this week.

Sincerely,

Ed Walter,
Administrator
