Incorporated
as a town in 1785 and missing by only one vote in being
the capitol of the United States by the U.S. Congress,
our City of Havre de Grace is rich in tradition and history.Downtown
Havre de Grace is currently undergoing a makeover with
several Street Scape Projects either completed or being
worked on.
We
ask that you visit Havre de Grace, and stroll with your
loved one along our Promenade next to the magnificent
Chesapeake Bay and Susquehanna River. Browse among our
many quaint specialty shops. Or, climb our Lighthouse,
the second oldest when active in the nation. Or, visit
our Decoy, Lockhouse, and Maritime museums, while you
visit your loved one at the Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center.
While
visiting your loved one at Citizens Care & Rehabilitation
Center, relax in one of our various restaurants, and
stay the night in one of our historic bed and breakfast
homes.
